Ed Candy
Ed Candy is the Technology Director for 3. He has a wealth of experience in mobile and wireless communications which he has built up in previous roles as Technical Director at Orange and as Group Development Director at Simoco International. Ed also acted in an advisory capacity to the UK government through his role as Chairman of the 3G Technical Advisory Group prior to the 3G spectrum auction in April 2000. Ed is a visiting Professor of Strathclyde University, a fellow of
the IEE and a Senior Member of the IEEE.
