Mike Brierley
Mike is presently the Technical Director of Chelton Limited, an international aerospace group consisting of over forty companies based in the UK, France, Scandinavia, USA, Canada and the Republic of South Africa. Although his role within the Company is primarily a managerial one, he still maintains detailed engineering involvement and is currently introducing new technology to develop an advanced range of products within the group.
Mike's early career was at the Airborne Radio Division of Marconi Avionics at Basildon where he worked on the design of airborne homing and DF systems for ASW applications. In 1981 he joined Chelton (Electrostatics) Limited to open an electronics design facility at the company's Plymouth premises. During his time with Chelton he has developed a wide range of Homing Systems, DF Systems, and Communications Transceivers, which are now in service in many countries.
